History
Early historyJonathan our founder, Boss and software neurosurgeon. With over 30 years experience in making computer games and is the main driving force behind Lark Games. He has been involved in the computer game industry for many a year, going back to the 1980`s
He grew up in Gremlin Graphics offices exchanging code with other programers, being amazed at full colour scrolling on the Commodore 64 and the first synthesis speech, it took almost half an hour to upload to the Commodore 64 from a tape for 10 seconds of the synthesis music 'Kung Fu Fighting' In the 1990`s he got involved in the music side of the industry and patent a MP3 Jukebox with in UK. He has been a game maker for 30+ years, with a passion for the old style game play as well as being involded in programing and developing of business Apps (many for Ancient Wisdom)
Story Of Terrys Booster Blast And Why It MattersI did not want to remake the classic Match3 or Blast game, to many were copys of Candy Crush and games of that type, I wanted to make an anty Candy Crush game. As with other games I have made I started by taking months working out the unique game play. I had made a few games by now in Unity, and like many was in a covid Lockdown, self-isolating taking care of my Mum (80+) after her hospital operation. I needed to do something to keep my self sane. I put aside all my lockdown time to work on the game with the game play I had developed in the previous months, I put every of bit of my passion, years of classic gaming, my love for games as well as I understanding of phone game market into Terrys Booster Blast.
This game is not just a lockdown game, with early mornings and late nights, but 30 years passion and of hard work.
